David Ortiz Boston Red Sox Game Used Bat 2003 PSA / DNA LOA Outstanding Use

Offered is a 2003 David Ortiz professional model X-Bat with outstanding game use. This X-Bat Model 24 features Ortiz’s name block-lettered on the barrel, measures 34” in length, and weighs 33.1 ounces. Ortiz’s player number “34” is handwritten on the knob in faded silver marker. The bat shows exceptional use throughout, including heavy ball marks, ball-stitch impressions, blue ink transfers, white leather scuffs, and cleat marks on multiple sides of the barrel. The handle is spiral-tape wrapped approximately 6.75” for enhanced grip and carries a light coat of pine tar.The bat was cracked during use and subsequently split into two pieces, which remain secured together with tape. A small piece of wood is missing from the cracked area. Despite the break, it remains an excellent display piece—its severe game-used crack is a great testament to Big Papi’s raw power at the plate. This bat is accompanied by a full LOA from PSA confirming its authenticity as a David Ortiz professional model game-used bat.
